Who We Are

       MTAC-Sonoma County is a group of approximately fifty teachers who live in Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties.   Our instruction includes piano, voice, and other instruments.  We are affiliated with the state organization, Music Teachers Association of California, adhering to their high standards for music teaching and performance.  Every member has at least two years of experience teaching music and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (or the equivalent courses in music history, music theory, performance, and pedagogy).  Learn More.
Our Purpose....

      ...is to nurture the love of music in our students, thereby enhancing their lives and the lives of those around them.   We uphold high standards in music performance and strive for excellence in our teaching.  By guiding our students to develop their technique, understanding and musicianship, we strive to enable each student to reach his or her highest potential.
